How to Use Simple Picker Wheel
Simple Picker Wheel is designed to be quick: paste entries, choose any optional settings, and spin. The names stay still while the arrow or ball reveals a random winner.
1. Add your entries
Paste names, prizes, topics, chores, choices, or giveaway entries into the setup box. Use one entry per line. Rows copied from Excel or Google Sheets should work as normal pasted lines.
2. Choose a spin speed
Use the speed control to choose an automatic pick length or a longer reveal. Longer spins still start with a fun fast motion and then slow down toward the winner.
3. Pick a wheel order
- Input keeps the entries in the order you pasted them.
- A-Z sorts entries alphabetically so viewers can find names more easily.
- Remix changes the visual display order without changing the odds.
Wheel order changes where entries appear, not how likely they are to win.
4. Choose a pointer and theme
Use Arrow for the classic readable wheel reveal, or Ball for a rolling-style picker. Dark mode is the default, and light mode is available when a brighter screen works better.
5. Use repeated-pick options
- Sound turns pick sounds on or off.
- Remove winner after spin keeps winners from being picked again in the same session.
- Continue from last stop starts the next spin from the previous stopping position.
6. Stop an accidental spin
After a spin starts, the main Spin button changes to Stop Spin. Use it if you started a spin by accident. Stopping a spin cancels the pick, resets the pointer to its starting position, and does not choose a winner.
7. Review winners
Winners appear in the results panel. You can copy the winners list or clear the winner history when you want to start over.
8. Browser-only saving
Simple Picker Wheel can save your entries and options in this browser only. Your list is not uploaded to an account or public wheel. Use Clear saved to remove saved browser data for this site.
